Available Positions
PMDFC is currently hiring for the following two positions under this project:
1. Technical Specialist – Solid Waste (01 Post – Lahore Based) This role is focused on solid waste management systems. The selected candidate will work on landfill design, material recovery facilities, leachate management, and related environmental projects.
2. Technical Specialist – Liquid Waste (Sewerage) (01 Post – Lahore Based) This role is related to sewerage and wastewater treatment systems. The candidate will handle water supply networks, innovative treatment technologies, and environmental sustainability-related work.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for either of these positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Education Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Acceptable fields include Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any closely related discipline. The degree must be from an HEC-recognized institution.
General Work Experience Candidates need a minimum of 20 years of professional experience in engineering, infrastructure, or municipal services projects. This is a senior-level position that requires strong hands-on knowledge of complex projects.
Specific Experience – Solid Waste Position (Minimum 15 Years) The applicant must have demonstrated expertise in several areas, including solid waste management systems (covering MRFs and landfill design and operations), leachate treatment and landfill gas management, waste-to-energy and resource recovery solutions,
energy efficiency and renewable energy applications, carbon credits and environmental sustainability frameworks, feasibility studies and project planning, public sector project management and stakeholder coordination, and preparation of technical reports, PC-1s, and donor-funded project documents.
Specific Experience – Liquid Waste / Sewerage Position (Minimum 15 Years) The applicant must have demonstrated expertise in water supply, sewerage, and wastewater treatment systems, energy efficiency and renewable energy applications, carbon credits, climate change mitigation, and environmental sustainability frameworks,
feasibility studies and infrastructure development, innovative technologies in water supply, sewerage, and wastewater treatment, public sector project management and stakeholder coordination, and preparation of technical reports, PC-1s, and donor-funded project documentation.
